Cactus Pear Music Festival: Fireworks Finale

This weekend will be music to your ears, literally. Enjoy the beautiful; and classical sounds of hundreds of instruments for a weekend full of elegance. The Cactus Pear Music Festival was created by Stephanie Sant'Ambrogio, former concertmaster of the San Antonio Symphony for 13 years. Looking to fill the summer void of classical music in South Texas as the San Antonio Symphony, Sant’Ambrogio went on a 3-month break, and she and her fellow musicians left for music festivals. Stephanie's idea for the festival came from one night out on the River Walk as she sipped a signature Zuni Grill cactus pear margarita. The idea sprouted to create a festival that mimics the fruity margarita’s color and exuberance. This weekend is loaded with talent, check the website for more information and the full schedule.
