People love Boerne for the small town atmosphere, Hill Country views, and quaint downtown scenery. However, Boerne also has far more to offer visitors and residents alike than many realize! Boerne is known for rich heritage, great location, and an active community, all of which are showcased by local businesses. No need to research: five of the best fun events to attend and businesses to visit in Boerne this week are described below. Hopefully, this list will make planning a perfect Texas Hill Country weekend a little easier!
1. Gather Around the Fire for Songs & S’mores
Honestly, does anything sound more Fall-tastic (yes, you heard us right: “fall-tastic”) than stories and songs around a bonfire? This weekend, The Cibolo Nature Center’s Herff Farmhttp://www.cibolo.org/herfffarm/herfffarmoverview/overview.html invites you to cozy up around the fire for an evening of Songs and S’mores! Tote along your guitars, grab the kiddos, throw on your favorite sweater, and let the CNC take care of the rest. Local musicians are scheduled to offer some acoustic tunes while you roast marshmallows and sing your heart out. The cost for this event is only $5 per person (price including s'mores). Don’t forget to bring lawn chairs or a blanket!

When writer and widower George Schneider begins dating again (per suggestion by his younger brother Leo), a series of bad matches almost cause him to lose hope. Bud suddenly, Leo introduces George to Jennie Malone...and the two embark on a bumpy trip through the world of romance. Hilarious, charming, and smart, “Chapter Two” is considered a “PG-rated” comedy, co-produced by Kendall County Air and starring local talent Dustin Lucas, Keith Amelung, Emily Piperato, Kimberly Stoner.
