Carrasco creates a stylistic borderland of pop rock and Latin rhythms, sure to get you swaying on Saturday evening. Here’s the scoop: Bernard is planning a romantic weekend with his chic Parisian mistress in a charming converted French farmhouse...all while his wife Jacqueline is away. Naturally, his best friend Robert will be in attendance to provide an alibi. Then comes the twist: Robert may not have quite understood the reason for his invitation. Are Robert and Jacqueline secret lovers? No, this is not the neighborhood gossip or the latest telenovela: Boerne’s Community Theatre is putting on a performance of the hilarious play, “Don’t Dress for Dinner”. This play was written by Marc Camoletti, adapted by Robin Hawdon, directed by Keisha McFerrin, and co-produced by Consuelo Scanlon.
Boerne Community Theatre was founded in 1991 by Boerne resident Deloris Littlejohn. Littlejohn wanted to provide a vehicle for the education, production, and development of performing arts, as well as encourage community participation in all aspects of its activities.
