Featuring three large buildings full of artisan goods, Oma’s Craft Fair is a holiday shopping staple. Admission is $5, but kids 12 and under can enter for free!

2. Enjoy a Whimsical Performance of “Twas the Night Before Christmas”

Add a touch of storytelling whimsy to your life by attending Boerne Community Theatre’s production of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” this year! The evening’s antics will take you on a wild adventure with a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won't take no for an answer. The storyline involves a heist, a duel with rapiers, some hip-hop, a squirt gun, a perilous airplane flight and an elf’s stint as a secret agent. The play’s exuberance and storytelling magic have earned it nationwide critical acclaim. The Washington Post has described it as having “a momentum and ebullience worthy of the Pixar-era”.

Note: For a cost of $10, Santa will be available for holiday photos prior to showtime, during intermission, and immediately after the performance. Proceeds from the photos to benefit the BCT general fund! Boerne Community Theatre produces quality, live theatre that entertains, educates and enriches the community.

3. Shop Local at the Stocking Stroll

A longstanding Boerne tradition, the Weihnachts Parade will take place on the first Saturday of December! With a theme like “Lone Star Christmas”, this year’s parade promises to be one to remember. If you’re interested in being a part of the festivities, sign up your group, company or family and start designing your lighted float! The parade travels North to South beginning at Frederick Street (by the Fire House) and will end at River Road.

Described as a pioneer in the independent Texas singer-songwriter genre, Terri Hendrix defies stereotypes, weaving folk, pop, country, blues and swinging jazz into an eclectic style all her own. Beloved by generations of loyal fans worldwide, Hendrix was recently recognized by “Acoustic Guitar” Magazine as one of Texas’ 20 “essential” singer-songwriters.
