1. Enjoy Plenty of Live Music at the Biergarten

If you’re craving some live music this weekend, fear not: Drink Texas Biergarten has recently claimed the title of “music capital of Boerne”...and we are inclined to agree! Between Friday and Saturday, you have the chance to head down to this outdoor music venue for any of three live shows. On Friday night, listen to Bleu Kathedral jam out with a few progressive rock and classic rock tunes. Start your Saturday afternoon off with Buddy Boy Vargas, a singer/songwriter partial to Americana and Texas Country music. Born in Kansas City, Vargas’ music is for fans of classic voices like Zane Williams and George Strait. Finally, on Saturday evening, funk out with the Eetwo Band, a blues-rock group led by Emmanuel and Elyssa Tomes. They’ve come to be known by their “eclectic fusion of blues-rock and funk.” Come for the music, stay for the wide selection of craft beer and wines!

When: Friday at 8PM (Bleu Kathedral) Saturday at 3PM (Buddy Boy Vargas) and 8PM (Eetwo Band)

Where: Drink Texas Biergarten, 265 S Main St, Boerne, Texas

Lemonade Day, which encourages skills like financial literacy, economics, career readiness, and personal development, teaches kids how to start, own, and operate their own lemonade stand. Though this may seem like a small, insignificant “rite of passage” in modern day America, understanding the basics of business and entrepreneurship can propel kids forward to become leaders and advocates in their own community! Lemonade Day is officially on Sunday, May 1st from 1-4pm! Stands will be located throughout Boerne. You can also head to the “Best Tasting Lemonade Contest” on Friday evening at 5:30PM in the Main Plaza!
