Boerne’s craft beer scene has been experiencing something of a revival lately. With the recent addition of Kinematic Brewing Co (and the soon-to-be-unveiled Cibolo Creek Brewing), local beer enthusiasts are in for a treat! Kinematic Brewing Company is a small, “nano-sized brewery” that offers a tasting room and bottle shop. Their self-proclaimed relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere allows both experienced and novice beer-drinkers the opportunity to gather and learn more about the local brews. Much like the rest of the Boerne community, Kinematic values quality, community and passion in their craft. Their goal is to produce hand-crafted artisan beers with a deep respect for the land upon which our brewery is founded. Sounds perfect for Boerne! Head to the tap room this weekend to taste.

We’d be willing to bet that when you think “blues music venue”, “an underground cavern” isn’t exactly the first thing that comes to mind...but maybe it should be! The Throne Room, located in Boerne’s own Cave Without a Nave, offers acoustics that intensify any musical experience. On Saturday night, the Blues Underground Review (a group comprised of some of the best south-central Texas blues artists) will be performing a variety of blues selections and New-Orleans-style brass band tunes. Though they will be playing the blues, you’ll leave energized and full of soul. Plus, if you arrive early, you can enjoy Smoke iI The Hills barbecue at 5 PM!
