1. Stretch Those Muscles

The first Friday of every month, the Patrick Heath Library hosts a session of yoga in the community room. If you have heard everyone talking about how great yoga is and want a risk-free place to give it a try, head to the library on this First Friday!

2. Join a Writing Club

If you’re an amateur author or a professional writer trying to crank out a novel or short story, join the Writer’s Roundtable at the Library! For several nights throughout November, the Boerne Community Theatre is performing “Potato Gumbo”, a story that casts an all-too-familiar light on the realities of getting old. 4. Get Fresh Food at the Farmers Market

Saturday is the perfect time to restock the kitchen with some fresh and healthy food items from the Farmers Market at the Cibolo. There is always something fun happening at the market while you shop, so feel free to make a morning of it each weekend! The market will close down for the winter in mid-December, so be sure to stop in while you can.

5. Shop for Handmade Goods

The Boerne Handmade Market is being held this month at Cana Ballroom. This bi-annual market gives a space for creative vendors to sell their handmade items ranging from bath and body products to children’s items. There will be a coffee shop and food trucks on site for shoppers, and a live band will be performing for a little entertainment throughout the day. Entry is $5, children 12 and under get in free!

6. Say “Yeehaw!” at the Rodeo

Make the short drive to Bulverde for the last month to catch The Best Show on Dirt, the rodeo! Tejas Rodeo Company has been hosting Saturday Night Rodeo throughout the year, and it provides a family-friendly environment with live music and the best rodeo events each week. 7. Get Down for Diva Night

8. Catch a Country Music Show

Make your way to The Roundup on Veteran’s Day to check out a concert put on by Cody Jinks and Josh Ward. Food trucks and a playground will be on site for the kids to get fed and play around while the music plays all night. Doors are at 6, and Josh Ward takes the stage at 8:00 pm.
