With the holiday season just around the corner, the Boerne Handmade Market is your opportunity to scour over 60 booths of original, high-quality, unique items from the Hill Country area. This bi-annual event has become a local favorite, featuring plenty of fresh, creative vendors selling handmade goods. So head to the market and peruse the impressive selection of stationery, handmade soap, spices and rubs, painted wooden signs, jewelry, woodwork, and far, far more!

2. Support Your Local Theatre

Support your local performers and attend Boerne Theatre’s production of “Panache,” a heartwarming play with a classic “rom-com” feel (and plenty of laughs). Watch two strangers (the respectable socialite Kathleen Trafalgar and rough-and-tumble fry cook Harry Baldwin) engage in a hilariously witty (and passionate) battle over what may seem to be a silly detail: they’ve both applied for the same personalized license plate. Ultimately, this encounter gives way to an unusual love story, a dual of the minds, and a surprising commentary on the irrelevance of social status. Check the Theatre’s website for times!

When: May 5th-20th, various times

Where: Boerne Community Theatre, 907 E Blanco
