Harpeth Rising is composed of Jordana Greenberg (violin), Rebecca Reed-Lunn (banjo), and Maria Di Meglio(cello), all of whom contribute to the band’s three-part vocal harmonies.
Considered to be genre-benders, Harpeth Rising have truly created their own unique sound...a rare feat for artists today. Their music draws from folk, newgrass, rock, and classical roots. Wings Over Boerne will feature a series of bird of prey demonstration, as well as a flying demo with hawks, owls, falcons, and vultures. These truly larger-than-life wild animals fly with precision and speed, always delivering a captivating performance.
Founded in 1978, Last Chance Forever is a nonprofit dedicated to the” rehabilitation of sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey, scientific investigation and the education of the public.” Wings Over Boerne is a piece of the effort to educate the public on the dwindling population of birds of prey.
