1. Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair
Featuring all things hand-crafted, home-made, and hand-made, Oma’s Christmas Craft Fair is your place to find unique, one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and family! Whether you’re looking for artisan jams, locally made clothing, wall hangings, wood carvings, or embroidery, Oma’s Craft Fair is where you’ll find goods "just like your grandmother used to make."

2. Dickens On Main
Starting the day after Thanksgiving, the 17th annual Dickens On Main will feature a Black Friday and Small Business Saturday spotlight, live musical entertainment, Dickens-era theatrical performances, a variety of children’s activities (including Santa and a 60-foot snow slide), live ice sculpting shows, horse-drawn carriage rides, snow on Main Street and way, way more. Ask any Boerne-ite: this joyful celebration is a Boerne staple!

4. Boerne Community Theatre: Twas the Night Before Christmas
Add a touch of storytelling whimsy to your life by attending Boerne Community Theatre’s production of “Twas the Night Before Christmas” this year! The evening’s antics will take you on a wild adventure with a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won't take no for an answer.

5. Cowboy Christmas Market
If you’re like most of us, last-minute Christmas shopping is almost a tradition in your holiday season! Thankfully, Cowboy Christmas Market Days is the perfect place to find those last few gifts. This outdoor market blends “the tradition of the Texas Hill Country with the creations of today’s culture.” Hundreds of festive booths will display unique goods from all kinds of vendors, as well as live music and delicious food.

6. Concert in a Cave: Winter Solstice + Sounds of the Season

Nothing screams “festive” like Christmas music, and nothing quite says “Hill Country” like a concert inside of an underground cavern. Cave Without a Name’s holiday concert lineup includes “Sounds of the Season” and “Winter Solstice”, both of which will present both traditional and contemporary instrumentation and song selection.

7. Stocking Stroll
If you love local Boerne businesses and Christmas traditions, you can’t miss the Stocking Stroll on Saturday, December 3rd! Ticket holders for this event will have VIP access to the Hill Country Mile’s premier shops and businesses, receiving unique gifts at each participating location.

8. Walk in Bethlehem
Head to St. Helena’s Episcopal Church on December 6th to remember the reason for the season! The nativity-centric event “Walk in Bethlehem” promises to transport you to the original Christmas story.

9. Weihnachts Parade
A longstanding Boerne tradition, the Weihnachts Parade will take place on the first Saturday of December! With a theme like “Lonestar Christmas”, this year’s parade promises to be one to remember. If you’re interested in being a part of the festivities, sign up your group, company or family and start designing your lighted float!

Where: The parade travels North to South beginning at Frederick Street and will end at River Road
10. Christmas Light Fest
If Christmas lights are the proverbial “icing on the cake” in terms of Christmas decorations, then the Don Strange Ranch Christmas Light Fest is a sugary celebration like absolutely no other! The glittering display boasts over two million holiday lights along a two-mile path...not to mention Santa’s Village and a marketplace featuring free pictures with Santa, food, fun, holiday crafts and gifts!
